This is a large limited-edition giclée on canvas by "rock star of the art world" Michael Godard. A bottle of "7 Deadly Zins" zinfandel, with a label listing gluttony, sloth, envy, lust, greed, anger, and pride, stands beside a glass of red wine on a glossy black ground. Godard's trademark blue grape characters act out each of the sins around it. One climbs the bottle on a vine and eats, one struts in a top hat and cane, one stuffs himself at a dessert table, one admires herself in a mirror in a crown, and one lounges in a recliner in front of a TV. The printed Godard signature is in blue at lower right, with a hand signature in gold paint pen above it and the number 208/400. It is presented in a black and gold floater-style frame. Framed size: 44" x 31" (frame dimensions).

Pieces from the collection, photographed in the Ross home
Burgess Auctions is pleased to present the Catherine Ross Trust, an exceptional collection of art, sculpture, decorative objects and fine furnishings. It was gathered over decades and displayed throughout the Ross family's approximately 11,000-square-foot Northside Indianapolis residence.
Catherine Ross was an educator, interior designer, businesswoman and civic leader whose eye for design is evident throughout this diverse collection. Together with her husband, noted Indianapolis cardiologist Dr. Edward Ross, she assembled an eclectic group of objects reflecting a lifetime of travel, collecting and appreciation for art, culture and design.
