The Clock Collection — Nearly 60 Lots Seth Thomas, Waterbury, Ingraham, Ansonia, and Vienna regulators headline a running collection of wall, mantel, and shelf clocks — plus two full grandfather clocks with moon phase and triple chime movements. Many are documented as running or original-label pieces.

American Salt-Glazed Stoneware Nearly 30 pieces of cobalt-decorated crocks and jugs, several attributed to named 19th-century potteries — E. & L.P. Norton of Bennington, Vermont; Ottman Brothers of Fort Edward, New York; and multiple Pennsylvania makers. Bird, tulip, and floral cobalt decoration throughout, including an elaborate 4-gallon piece.

Animation Art & Studio Collectibles Original Disney Jiminy Cricket production cels signed by Ward Kimball headline an 18-piece run that includes Disney Store commemorative lithographs, a Warner Bros. lithograph by Virgil Ross, a Beatles Subafilms sericel, and a Pink Panther "Pinkasso" MGM sericel.

Navajo Textiles A collection of woven rugs and saddle blankets, including a grouped lot of three Navajo textiles — sound, well-preserved examples of Southwestern weaving.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a bidder or placing a bid in this Burgess Auctions LLC simulcast auction, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all bidders regardless of the platform through which bids are placed, including bidburgess.com, HiBid, and LiveAuctioneers. Announcements made from the auction floor or posted in the online catalog take precedence over these written terms in the event of a conflict.

2. Bidding Methods

This is a live simulcast auction, conducted simultaneously in-person at our Knightstown facility and online. In-person and online bids are accepted equally, and highest bid wins regardless of source.

In-Person: Register on-site the day of the auction and receive a bidder number.
Online: Register and bid through bidburgess.com, HiBid, or LiveAuctioneers. Maintain a valid payment method on file to bid.

3. Registration

All bidders must register and agree to these Terms before bidding.
Online bidders must maintain valid, current payment information on their account.
Multiple bidder accounts per individual are not permitted.
Burgess Auctions LLC reserves the right to deny or revoke bidding privileges at its sole discretion.

4. Buyer's Premium

A buyer's premium is added to the hammer price of each lot and included in the total purchase price:

The buyer's premium is non-negotiable and non-refundable except in the case of a verified cataloging error by Burgess Auctions LLC.

5. Discounts

Cash Discount — A 3% discount on the buyer's premium is available for payment made entirely in cash, regardless of whether the lot was purchased in-person or online.

Prompt-Payment Discount — An additional 1% discount on the buyer's premium is available for any invoice paid in full within 24 hours of invoice issuance. Invoices are typically issued Sunday or Monday following the auction, after reconciliation across all bidding platforms — the 24-hour window begins when your invoice is sent, not at auction close. This discount applies regardless of payment method and may be combined with the cash discount above.

6. Payment Terms

Full payment is due the day of the auction, or immediately upon notification of a winning online bid.

Local / in-person pickup buyers: Payment is collected at the time of pickup.
Online / shipping buyers: Invoices must be reconciled (paid in full) by Wednesday following the auction. Burgess Auctions LLC works with Shipping Saint, who collects and ships all paid orders on Wednesdays. Orders not paid by Wednesday will not go out with that week's shipment and must wait for the following week's pickup.

7. Sales Tax

Indiana sales tax will be collected on all purchases unless a valid exemption certificate is provided at registration. Buyers claiming a tax-exempt purchase should bring a completed Form ST-105, available through the Indiana State Forms Online Catalog (forms.in.gov).

8. Item Condition & Descriptions

All lots are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Photos and catalog descriptions are provided for reference only; bidders are responsible for their own due diligence and are encouraged to inspect items in person during the scheduled preview.

Note on specialty categories in this sale: Clock lots are described as "running" or "works" only where verified prior to cataloging and are not guaranteed to remain in working order after sale. Maker attributions on stoneware and animation art (including signatures) are based on marks, documentation, or visual inspection and are not backed by independent authentication or appraisal unless explicitly stated in the lot description.

9. Internet & Technology

Burgess Auctions LLC is not responsible for internet connectivity issues, platform outages, server delays, or other technical difficulties that prevent online bidding, and no adjustments will be made for missed bids resulting from such issues. Online bidders should test their connection and device prior to the auction and refresh their screen regularly during bidding.

10. Bidding Priority & Disputes

In-person and online bids are accepted with equal priority. In the event of a dispute between bidders on any lot, the auctioneer's decision is final. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid, withdraw any lot, and reopen bidding on any lot.

11. Announcements

Any announcements made from the auction block, or posted updates to the online catalog, take precedence over these printed Terms and over any prior marketing materials.

12. Item Pickup & Shipping

In-Person Buyers: Items become your responsibility at the fall of the hammer and must be removed the day of sale unless prior arrangements have been made.
Online Buyers: Items must be picked up within 7 days of auction close at our Knightstown facility during posted hours, or shipping can be arranged at the buyer's expense.

Shipping Saint — Our Shipping Partner Burgess Auctions LLC works with Shipping Saint, who picks up all paid orders every Wednesday for packing and shipping. If your invoice is paid in full by Wednesday, your order goes out with that week's shipment. If payment is received after Wednesday, your order will be held for packing and shipping the following week. See Section 6 for invoice reconciliation timing and the prompt-payment discount.

LiveAuctioneers Bidders: Burgess Auctions offers in-house shipping as an alternative to LiveAuctioneers' third-party shipping calculator. Choosing our in-house shipping through Shipping Saint gives us direct control over packing and handling, and is typically more cost-effective than LiveAuctioneers' standard shipping quote. Contact us after the auction if you'd like to use in-house shipping instead.

Burgess Auctions LLC is not responsible for items once transferred to Shipping Saint or any other carrier. Some lots in this sale — including grandfather clocks, large furniture, and the slot machine and vending machine — may require special handling or freight shipping. Contact us in advance of the auction to discuss logistics for large or fragile items.

13. Liability Waiver

Burgess Auctions LLC is not liable for accidents, theft, injury, or item damage occurring on-site. Online bidders acknowledge they have not physically inspected items prior to bidding and accept all associated risk.

14. Non-Payment & Account Suspension

Failure to pay for or pick up won lots within the required timeframe may result in account suspension from future Burgess Auctions LLC sales and legal action to collect payment plus any associated fees.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. These Terms are subject to change without notice; the version posted with the live auction listing at the time of bidding governs.
