This rectangular buckle carries Eastern Air Lines' later minimalist logo — a simplified, angular wing shape swept diagonally across a finely textured silver-tone field, the streamlined "winglet" mark Eastern adopted in its later corporate identity, distinct from the earlier falcon-and-globe branding of the mid-century era. The reverse is stamped "HICKOK USA," a well-known American maker of belt buckles and men's accessories that produced branded pieces for several airlines over the decades, along with a "ZN-ALLOY" mark confirming zinc-alloy construction rather than solid brass or silver. The textured field shows light, even wear typical of buckles carried on a belt, with the raised wing motif retaining crisp, well-defined edges. The buckle loop and catch mechanism remain solid and fully functional. A distinctive, wearable piece of Eastern's later corporate branding.
