This sterling silver pin takes the form of a stylized twin-engine airliner in full profile, "E.A.L." — Eastern Air Lines' period abbreviation — cut directly into the wing in bold sans-serif lettering. The airframe is rendered with real dimensional detail: engine cowlings, cockpit glazing, and cabin windows all worked into the silhouette rather than left flat, giving the piece genuine sculptural presence for its small size. The reverse is stamped "STERLING" alongside a maker's mark for Tiffany & Co., tying it to the same tradition of high-end American jewelers producing airline service and presentation pieces in the mid-20th century. The silver has darkened to a deep, even patina overall, with the raised detail on the fuselage and wings still crisp, and the pin catch and closure remain fully functional. A well-modeled, maker-marked piece that stands out from typical stamped-brass airline pins of the era.
Measures approximately 1"x2.5"
