This Washington National Airport commemorative collectors plate features a centrally illustrated multi-engine aircraft flying above clouds, encircled by the text Washington National Airport. The wide cobalt blue border is decorated with a detailed gold floral scroll pattern and accented with hand painted warranted 22k gold detailing. The piece measures approximately 10 inches in diameter. The reverse features a maker mark stamp inside a painter's palette outline reading Hand Painted Warranted 22 K. Gold. The ceramic surface shows standard glaze gloss with minor wear and faint surface marks consistent with handling and display. This commemorative piece makes a fitting addition for collections of aviation memorabilia and civil aviation souvenirs.
