This pair carries the simple title "LEAD," likely worn by a lead crew member across a range of ground or maintenance positions rather than a specific trade. The top badge features AA's round red-white-and-blue cockade emblem — the flying eagle silhouette between "A" and "A" inside a red ring — set above gilt wings and a blue enamel "LEAD" banner in gold toned lettering. The bottom badge carries the sculpted eagle-and-block-letter "AA" design instead, the eagle rising between the two capital A's atop full-span wings, over the same style blue enamel "LEAD" banner. Both are pin-back construction with the original pins intact and functional on the reverse, and both show a warm gilt patina with light, honest wear consistent with genuine period use. A clean, well-matched set for anyone building out a run of American Airlines ground-crew title badges.
First badge approximately 3" x 1.5" and second badge approximately 3"x 1.25"
