The ROBERTS 3095 Superior Carpet Adhesive is designed for the most demanding carpet installations. It secures most commercial carpet with rigid backings, including closed cell backings. The high solids, high tack formulation grants a persistent bond. This adhesive features an extremely fast grab and is excellent for double-bond installation methods. Adheres carpet with most backings, including polypropylene (ActionBac), woven, Axminster, Wilton, hot melt, unitary, needle-punch (non-woven/needle-bond), urethane foam (Enhancer), polyurethane laminate (LifeSpan), sponge-rubber, jute and latex-foam. Bonds with concrete, underlayment grade APA rated plywood, vinyl composition tile (free of wax) and terrazzo. For interior, heavy commercial traffic installations. May be used for direct and double bond installations. Moisture Control Adhesive - up to 10 lbs. MVER and 90% RH. Up to 20 minutes open time, 40 minutes working time and 24 to 48 hours curing time. Approximately 65 to 110 sq. ft. per gallon coverage for polypropylene/woven carpet and 100 to 200 sq. ft. per gallon coverage for non-woven/closed cell/Enhancer carpet installations. Suggested for use with a 1/8 in. x 1/8 in. x 1/8 in. U-notch trowel, 1/8 in. x 1/8 in. x 1/16 in. V-notch trowel, or 3/32 in. x 3/32 in. x 3/32 in. V-notch trowel depending on carpet installation type. Enviro-friendly, solvent-free and LEED compliant VOC < 1 g/L, SCAQMD Rule 1168. Protected by GoldGuard, an antimicrobial protection system that inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria in both wet and dry adhesives. CRI Green Label Plus Certified - GLP no. 36471. Non-flammable, NFPA Class A and UBC Class 1 fire resistance ratings (ASTM E84). Not for use with pure vinyl or vinyl-backed carpet.
