Selling subject to owner confirmation. This 1970 SAMCO Cord Royale is a rare, hand-built tribute to the legendary 1936–37 Cord 810/812, powered by its original Chrysler 440 V8 and showing 11,644 reported original miles. Title will be available upon proof of funds. Payment must be made in the form of cash, wire transfer, or check with proof of funds.
Built in Oklahoma by the Sports Automobile Manufacturing Company (SAMCO) between 1968 and 1970, the Royale combined the coffin-nose styling of the pre-war Cord with a fiberglass body and big-block American power. The Royale was the larger of SAMCO’s two models, alongside the Warrior. This one has had recent mechanical work, including new tires, brakes, and battery. Some items still need attention, which makes it a good fit for a collector ready to finish it out and enjoy one of the more unusual cars at any show.
Park it at a cruise-in and expect to spend the evening explaining what it is. That’s half the fun of owning one.

Our shipping department charges $45/hour for packing labor, plus the cost of shipping supplies (new boxes, bubble wrap, paper, and packing peanuts) and the retail shipping cost.

Once we pack items for shipment, they will not be released until payment is made in full for all packing and shipping charges and fees, as our insurance provider requires. ALL OF OUR ONLINE AUCTIONS FEATURE BOTH A MAX BID OPTION AS WELL AS A SOFT CLOSE.
"STAGGERED ENDING" Lots will begin closing at the designated time at a rate of 10 lots every 3 minutes. Please watch the countdown timer on each lot.
You may place a “MAX BID” on any item, and the computer will bid on your behalf, eliminating the need to “babysit” your bids. This option is highly recommended so you do not miss out on the item you are bidding on for any reason.
The “SOFT CLOSE” feature means any bid received in the auction's final minutes will auto-extended bidding on that particular item or lot by 3 minutes, thus allowing a backup bidder to raise their bid. If you do not use the MAX BID feature and are outbid, you will be notified via e-mail or text and will have the opportunity to raise your bid.
