Assortment of handcrafted 'Snow Children' figures from Dear Doll's St. Nicholas Collection, created by Elaine Roede. Includes figures in winter white hooded outfits, featuring items such as a child in a sleigh, a figure holding a lambkin, and an angel with a candle wreath crown. Marked with signatures, dates, and limited edition production numbers.
After years in the antiques trade, JB Sexson is retiring, and the inventory and personal pieces he's gathered are now heading to auction. It's a dealer's collection in the best sense: pattern glass and salt-glaze stoneware, vintage cameras and toy trains, 19th-century books and framed engravings, all chosen by someone who knew what was worth picking up.
His personal pieces show a lifelong love of horses. Signed bronzes of Arabian horses, a 2003 U.S. National Champion trophy, boxed Breyer models, and framed equine art run all through the sale. Rounding it out are quality consignments, including a 38-star medallion flag, U.S. proof sets, and Navy optics.
