Please read these terms before you bid. By accepting them, you agree to everything below.
1. How Bidding Works (Soft Close)
This is a timed auction with a soft close.
Lots close one after another, a few seconds apart. Check each lot for its closing time.
If someone bids on a lot in its last 1 minute, that lot's closing time is automatically extended by 1 minute.
2. Before You Bid
Everything is sold "where is, as is." There is no warranty or guarantee of any kind, written or implied.
All sales are final, and there are NO returns. Please bid with that in mind.

AI-Generated Descriptions
Some lot titles and descriptions may have been written by an AI system, and AI can make mistakes.
If a lot's title or description doesn't seem to match its photos, it is your responsibility to inspect the item or ask the auctioneer before you bid.
Hansen Auction Service is not responsible for the accuracy of item descriptions. If you rely only on the description, it's up to you to do your own research before bidding and decide what you believe the item is.
No refunds for buyer's remorse, including if the item turns out not to be what you thought it was.
3. Payment
We will charge the card on file after the auction closes unless you have made other arrangements with us in advance. There are two exceptions:
Invoices over $1,000: We charge $1,000 to your card as a deposit. You must pay the rest by cash or cashier's check.
Gold, silver, or coins: Payment is accepted by cash, cashier's check, or wire transfer ONLY (wire transfers have an extra $15 fee). No credit cards.
All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the sale. If you don't pay, you will be banned from bidding in future auctions.
4. Pickup
Staff Collects All Items
You may NOT collect your own items. Our staff will gather all of your small items for you and walk you to any larger items.
We do this to prevent theft. If you are caught collecting your own items, you will be banned from buying from us in the future.
Loading
Bring enough help to load your larger items into your vehicle.
Anything over 30 lbs is the buyer's responsibility to lift and load.
If you'd like our staff to help load those items, the fee is $25 per item, per staff member, paid directly to the staff.
Check Your Items Before You Leave
Double-check your lots before you go. Once you leave Hansen Auction Service property, we are not responsible for any missing items.
Pickup Times
Items must be picked up during the POSTED pickup hours. If you don't pick them up and haven't contacted us before pickup time ends, your items will be considered abandoned. You will lose your items and your account will be blocked from future bidding.
Need a different pickup day? You must arrange it before the auction ends. If we can accommodate you, a $25 Alternate Pickup Fee will be added to your bill.
5. Shipping
We offer shipping, but it can be expensive. Large, bulky, or fragile items cost a lot to ship.
Shipping costs include:
Handling and packing at $30/hour, with a minimum of $5 per shipping address
Plus the cost of boxes and packing materials
Plus the actual shipping cost
We package your items only after your original invoice is paid in full.
After that, we send you a separate shipping invoice.
Pay the shipping invoice within 5 days, or you will lose your items.
If you don't pay because you think shipping costs too much, you will lose your items with no refund.
We ship in-house using ShippingSaint software. We do not accept shipping labels supplied by buyers.
6. Safety & Liability
The auction site may be dangerous. By coming to pick up and remove your items, you agree to hold harmless the Seller and Hansen Auction Service.
You may choose to use equipment or tools that could hurt you (for example, ladders or power tools). If you do, you do so at your own risk and take full responsibility for your actions.
7. Our Rights
Hansen Auction Service reserves the right to:
Reject any bid at our discretion.
Ban you and cancel your bids at any time during the auction if we learn you have been banned by other auction companies for any reason.
Ban you from future auctions if you don't follow these terms or are disrespectful to our staff.
Cancel and/or reopen the auction if there are technical problems.
We are not responsible for technical problems, whether they are caused by HiBid, Sandhills, Proxibid, Auctioneer Software, Hansenauctionbid.com, or the buyer's own technology.
8. Sellers' Rights
Sellers have the right to do any of the following before the auction closes:
Set a reserve on an item at any time
Choose not to sell an item
Remove an item
9. Fair Bidding: Zero Tolerance
Any seller caught bidding on their own items will be permanently banned.
Anyone suspected of price fixing or collusion will be permanently banned.
10. Notifications
By accepting these terms, you agree to receive text and email notifications from Hansen Auction Service.
Pick up will be Thursday November 12th, 2026 by appt during the hours of 4-6PM CST. You will receive a text and email from shipping saint to set up pick up time.
