This is a French theatrical poster for Joséphine, Josephine Baker's final stage revue, held at the Bobino music hall in Paris in 1975. It shows a full-length photograph of Baker in a crystal-beaded bodysuit and a towering white ostrich-plume headdress, arms raised in a V, against a dark ground. The poster reads "Avec le concours de la S.B.M. Monte-Carlo, Bobino, Jean-Claude Dauzonne présente ... un grand spectacle de André Levasseur," has a "Festival / Exclusivité Musidisc Europe" record label credit, and ends in a large cream script "Joséphine." The photo credit, Guy Ventouillac, runs vertically along the left edge. It is presented under glass in a double mat (charcoal and rose) in a gold frame. Framed size: 43" x 60" (frame dimensions).

Pieces from the collection, photographed in the Ross home
Burgess Auctions is pleased to present the Catherine Ross Trust, an exceptional collection of art, sculpture, decorative objects and fine furnishings. It was gathered over decades and displayed throughout the Ross family's approximately 11,000-square-foot Northside Indianapolis residence.
Catherine Ross was an educator, interior designer, businesswoman and civic leader whose eye for design is evident throughout this diverse collection. Together with her husband, noted Indianapolis cardiologist Dr. Edward Ross, she assembled an eclectic group of objects reflecting a lifetime of travel, collecting and appreciation for art, culture and design.
