The 1500 Series Universal Pocket Door Frame is an easily assembled, premium quality commercial/residential kit for installing a pocket door into a 2x4 stud wall. The frame can be cut down to accept door sizes between 24 in. to 36 in. Pocket doors do not need "swing" room, saving valuable floor space while still assuring the full privacy of a standard door. Balanced three wheel tricycle hangers ensure that all wheels carry weight evenly for a lifetime of smooth operation. Precision extruded track is made of heavy-walled aluminum and s that your door will not jump track. Heavy gauge all steel split studs with self-tapping drywall and jamb screws included, means no predrilling required - screw directly into metal. Galvanized steel plating resists corrosion. Pocket accepts 1" to 1-3/4" thick doors with no adaptor required. Self-adjusting floor anchors allow for settling of floor without disturbing horizontal alignment of header and track.
