Step into a brilliant world of glowing history with this mesmerizing three-piece collection of Vaseline glass. Comprising a slender paneled pedestal vase, a whimsical figural shoe, and a small footed toothpick holder, this trio embodies the captivating luminescence prized by collectors. Each piece radiates with that unmistakable vibrant green chartreuse hue under ultraviolet light, owing to the trace amounts of uranium oxide traditionally added to the molten batch.
The tall trumpet vase displays clean vertical ribbing culminating in a scalloped rim, standing proudly atop a hexagonal base. Alongside it, the delicate novelty shoe and the footed holder feature intricate molded scrollwork and garlands, showcasing the whimsical craftsmanship of early-to-mid 20th-century glass pressing. The set shows normal surface wear consistent with age and careful display, including minor bottom-base scuffs on the vase and crisp, unbroken rims. This collection promises to be a luminous centerpiece under any UV light display.
