This eclectic collection of turned wood items and decorative wall art captures the mid-century global export market, featuring a notable inlaid marquetry plaque depicting a figure holding a fruit harvest, complete with an 'Israel' maker's hallmark and a handwritten sentimental inscription on the reverse dated 1971. Accompanying the wall hanging is an assortment of functional wooden home decor, including several turned candle holders of varying heights, multi-toned serving bowls, a small condiment dish with matching wooden spreaders, and a charming mushroom-shaped turned object. Each piece showcases distinct grain patterns and warm tones characteristic of mid-century artisan woodwork, with minor wear consistent with storage and display.
The grouping presents a cohesive mid-century aesthetic, offering a glimpse into the souvenir and craft markets of the era. The marquetry panel is securely mounted with a hanging bracket and exhibits slight surface scuffs. The wooden candle holders and bowls display normal variations in the wood grain and minor finish loss. Overall, this diverse lot delivers plenty of organic texture and retro charm for any interior space.
