This delightful assemblage of decorative porcelain and ceramic vessels offers a wonderful journey through various decorative arts traditions. Ranging from a petite, robin's-egg blue miniature teapot to a lovely heart-shaped trinket box by Formalities by Baum Bros featuring embossed roses and ornate gold-tone hardware, each piece brings its own unique character to the grouping. Also included is a fascinating footed egg vase adorned with vibrant pink roses and gilded trim, alongside a sage green trinket box molded with dragonflies, a stylized black and gold hexagonal pill box, a smooth porcelain jar with painted pink lilies, and a wonderfully organic box crafted from marbled Alaska native clay.
The collection is presented in varied states of preservation. While many pieces remain in pristine, highly polished order, astute observers will note a distinct interior hairline fracture near the rim of the rose-decorated egg vase, adding a tangible testament to its past journeys. This eclectic ensemble provides an appealing array of storage solutions and display objects, perfect for adding a touch of whimsy and curated charm to any dressing table or display cabinet.
