Unearth a striking piece of global craftsmanship with this carved wooden handle carving knife and fork set, safely housed in its matching decorative scabbard. The rich wood features intricate foliate carvings, paired with brass mounts and locking levers that whisper tales of far-flung dining rooms and meticulous preparation. Both the knife and fork blades bear the stamp of India, displaying surface scratches, oxidation, and wear consistent with previous use and age.
This functional dining pairing combines rustic utility with artisanal flair. The scabbard rests securely on small brass feet and features a sliding locking mechanism to keep the implements firmly in place. Whether displayed as a curiosity of global trade or brought out for its next feast, this set carries the unmistakable charm of hand-wrought tradition.
