Check out this whimsical menagerie and eclectic trio of heavy metal decor, perfect for adding a touch of rustic charm to any study or hearth. The collection features a heavy cast concrete or composite lidded box topped with a sculptural ram's head, a jaunty sheet metal pig standing proudly on a welded base with a playful curled tail, and an intricate cast iron Confederate seal trivet marked by Virginia Metalcrafters. Each piece shows characteristic wear including surface oxidation, scuffs, and residual dust from previous display, preserving an authentic tactile narrative.
This curious assembly brings together disparate elements of utilitarian design and sculptural folk art. The ram box offers clever hidden storage beneath its horned guardian, while the sheet metal pig cut from industrial scrap exudes a breezy mid-century whimsy. Together, they form a conversation-starting vignette that bridges heavy industrial utility with pastoral storytelling.
