The 1937 production year stands as a major historic milestone, as Cadillac nearly doubled its sales volume by introducing a significantly upgraded, larger, and more powerful power plant wrapped in beautifully streamlined "Unisteel" Turret Top bodywork.

Exceptional Provenance
This remarkable Series 60 Sedan benefits from decades of exceptional stewardship, remaining highly preserved for over forty years in the care of a dedicated pre-war classic car enthusiast. To prepare it for top-tier concours presentation, the car recently underwent a meticulous, no-expense-spared, frame-off restoration to factory-authentic standards. Tremendous care was taken to maintain its original, numbers-coherent 346 Monoblock engine and structural frame markings. Presented in an impeccably striking color combination with flawless visual symmetry, the vehicle retains its correct dashboard instruments, original interior appointments, and proper factory trim.
Historical Significance
The 1937 Cadillac Series 60 was an engineering masterclass that redefined the American luxury market out of the Great Depression. By replacing the previous year's 322 cubic-inch engine with the larger 346 power plant, Cadillac gave the car effortless highway-cruising capabilities. Visually, its streamlined pontoon fenders, bullet headlights, and sweeping rear luggage "hump" trunk epitomized late-1930s industrial grace. While mass-market vehicles felt the pinch of economy, the Series 60 was engineered to showcase Cadillac's absolute design leadership, making it one of the most reliable, drivable, and celebrated pre-war classic cars on the road today.
