The Everbilt pipe collars are used to seal and provide additional water control around shower pipe protrusions to prevent leaking. Best used around the area of a drain, shower heads, hand held wands, jets, and spray and steam heads (or other existing piping protrusions) as a waterproofing accessory, these Everbilt pipe collars are made from very strong polyethylene fibers that prevents moisture from penetrating deep into walls and floors. Thus, these Everbilt pipe collars provide an excellent watertight seal, are 100% waterproof, and top rated for steam shower applications. Additionally, these Everbilt pipe collars act as an anti-fracture membrane between substrates and hard surface coverings. This is specifically used for 1/2 inch pipe protrusions and is easily installed using modified or non-modified thin-set.
