The 32" x 4 ft. x 1/2" wall backer board is a thin, lightweight, waterproof and vapor-retardant backer board that consists of an extruded polystyrene rigid foam core. The rigid foam is reinforced with glass fiber mesh (with alkali-resistant finish) on both sides and coated with a polymer-modified cement. With its special properties, the wall backer board has a wide variety of applications and is the perfect substrate for walls and other wet areas. Using this backer board to build walls over stud framing in wet areas is an efficient alternative to using gypsum board. Pairs well with Everbilt screws and washers. Color Family: Gray.
