Engine is free and will run. Engine is equipped with an Edison Splitdorf magneto, white faced oil pressure gauge, radiator canvas, and homemade trailer with P205/75R14 Tires with custom hubcaps. The engine and trailer have been repainted. The hood and the trailer fenders are straight. there is a casting flaw on the back left corner of the crank case. Engine serial number 4548.
Duaine Filsinger worked for Nolze Implement for 30 years before leaving and beginning Filsinger Repair where he became nationally known for his two cylinder repair and classic John Deere restorations. He collected unique and rare John Deere memorabilia, tractors & gas engines. He opened the “The Deere Shed” a John Deere museum which has brought people from around the world to hear his stories and share the passion he enjoyed.
