This group consists of eight embroidered cloth patches featuring various airline, aerospace, and military subjects, including NASA Space Shuttle, Challenger crew, Eastern Air Lines, Guantanamo Bay Cuba, and Douglas Aircraft. Each patch displays detailed machine embroidery in multiple colors such as blue, white, red, yellow, and green, depicting aircraft, spacecraft, corporate logos, and insignia. The largest triangular Space Shuttle patch measures approximately 8 inches in height by 8 inches in width at the base, with the remaining patches varying in scale. The reverses show standard merrowed or cut cloth backing with thread stitching, and several exhibit remnant adhesive or backing material. The patches exhibit surface dust, fraying along edges, and minor discoloration consistent with handling and storage. These textile insignia provide a representative sampling of aviation and space exploration memorabilia suitable for specialized collections.
