This Eastern Air Lines employee name bar is personalized with the name "ANNE COKONIS," engraved with red-filled letters, and it measures about 2¾" wide by ½" tall. A named bar like this ties the piece to one individual's service with the airline. The face has a brushed silver-tone finish, and a small oval enamel emblem at the left end shows Eastern's "hockey stick" logo in white on red. The reverse is plain and unmarked, with two straight posts and no clutch backs. The red engraving is crisp and fully legible, and the logo enamel is glossy and intact. The brushed face shows only light surface scratches, and the reverse has soft toning and fine scratches from use. Named Eastern bars are much sought after by collectors, particularly with the red enamel logo, which is less common than the standard blue.
