This wing pin marks one of Eastern Air Lines' more senior management roles, with "DIRECTOR" spelled out across the raised ribbon banner atop full-span, feather-detailed wings finished in a two-tone gold and silver treatment. At center sits the airline's later streamlined "L" winglet logo in polished silver within a beaded gold border, matching the corporate mark used across Eastern's other job-title and supervisory wing pins. The badge measures approximately 2.5 inches wide. The finish shows scattered dark spotting and light overall wear consistent with genuine age, with the raised lettering and center logo still crisp and legible. The reverse retains dual pin-back posts, both intact, and carries an old inventory number handwritten on a small paper label. A well-documented example of Eastern's practice of issuing role-specific wing pins reaching into its senior management ranks.
