This gold-toned wing pin carries genuine named provenance, with "EVELYN CORTESE" spelled out across the raised ribbon banner atop full-span, feather-detailed wings — personally issued to an identifiable Eastern Air Lines employee rather than stock unissued jewelry. At center sits the airline's later streamlined "hockey stick" winglet logo within a beaded circular border, matching Eastern's late-era corporate branding. The gold finish shows oxidization and wear associated with age. The reverse retains dual pin-back posts along with a functional slotted screw fastener. Named employee wings like this carry meaningfully more collector interest than unissued stock pieces, tying the badge directly to an identifiable individual's service at Eastern.
