This gold-toned wing pin marks another specific role within Eastern Air Lines' ground operations, with "TECHNICAL FOREMAN" spelled out across a raised ribbon banner atop full-span, feather-detailed wings — the same job-title wing format used across Eastern's maintenance and supervisory badges of the era. At center sits the airline's later streamlined "L" winglet logo within a beaded circular border, matching the corporate mark used on Eastern's late-era pins and accessories. The gilt finish shows warm, even wear across the wings and banner, with the raised lettering and center logo still crisp and legible, and scattered light surface spotting consistent with genuine age. The reverse retains dual pin-back posts, both intact, though the clutch backs are no longer present. A well-preserved example documenting a specific technical-management role within Eastern's mid-to-late-century maintenance operations.
