This is an aluminum spinner, the conical fairing that mounts over an aircraft engine's propeller or fan hub, and it stands about 20" tall by roughly 14.5" across the base opening. The cone tapers smoothly to a rounded point and is formed from a single piece of aluminum, with a cutout at the base shaped to fit around the engine's front section. A ring of evenly spaced rivet holes runs around the lower edge on both sides for mounting to the hub or bulkhead. The interior shows a bare aluminum surface with a distinct ring pattern from the manufacturing process, along with heavy rust-colored staining concentrated at the center, likely transferred from a steel fastener or component that sat inside it over time. No airline markings, decals, or identification tags are present. The exterior aluminum has an overall brushed, weathered look with light surface scratching throughout and scattered scuffs, but no dents, cracks, or repairs.
