This wood-cased wall clock carries Eastern Air Lines' slogan "America's favorite way to fly" in gold lettering across the top, and it measures about 33" wide by 14" tall by 4" deep. Three round clock faces sit beneath the slogan, each printed with the "Eastern" wordmark and the "hockey stick" falcon logo in navy on a cream dial with black numerals, one with a red second hand. Gold lettering below each face lists the cities it tracks: Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle on the left; Miami in the center; and Panama, Bogotá, and Lima on the right, laying out Eastern's West Coast, Florida, and Latin American routes at a glance. The case is a dark-stained wood box frame with beveled glass over each dial. The reverse is open, showing quartz clock movements mounted on fiberboard backing panels, sawtooth hangers, and a factory label stamped "FINAL FINISH JUL 6 1983," dating the piece. The case shows light finish wear and scattered scuffs, and the beveled glass is intact over all three faces with only minor scratching. A dated, multi-city clock like this was made for an Eastern ticket office or operations area, and it's a substantial display piece for anyone building out the airline's route history.
NOT Tested.
