This elongated pin spells out Eastern's identity in full, "EASTERN AIR LINES" set in raised silver-tone lettering across a deep blue enamel banner that sweeps upward into a single wing shape, with the red falcon roundel anchoring the left end against the same light blue field seen across Eastern's mid-century branding. Construction is one-piece stamped metal with silver-tone plating over the enamel work, giving the piece a clean, uniform look distinct from the gold-toned wing pins also common to the airline. The enamel is bright and fully intact across the lettering and banner, with only light wear to the plated high points, and the reverse retains its original pin-back catch, fully functional. A crisp, legible example of Eastern's classic wordmark-and-falcon design, well suited for wear or display.
Measures approximately 0.75"x3"
