This badge carries a "REPÚBLICA DE CUBA" and "LEALTAD AL SERVICIO" ("Loyalty to Service") inscription, here set against a deep blue enamel border, with the central Cuban coat of arms shield rendered in a brighter silver-tone finish. The shield and wreath detail is crisp and finely struck, with the sunrise-key motif and diagonal striped field clearly defined. The blue enamel shows some wear and minor loss consistent with genuine age, while the raised silver-tone medallion at center has taken on a warm, softly aged patina. The reverse features a knurled circular disc with a threaded screw-post fastener.
