This matched pair of enameled pins bears "CUBA" arched in gold lettering across a deep blue disc, with a pair of gold wings rising above a central roundel — a blue-ringed circle enclosing a red triangle with a small white star at its center. The design closely follows the shoulder-patch insignia style used by the U.S. Army Air Corps in the interwar and WWII years (a winged roundel denoting military aviation branch), adapted here with Cuba's own red-triangle-and-star device at the core rather than the American star-and-bar — consistent with insignia worn by Cuban military aviation personnel during the mid-20th century, a period when Cuba's air corps closely mirrored American organizational and insignia conventions. Both pins are identical in design and retain their gold-tone frames and vivid blue, red, and gold enamel work with only light wear. The reverse of each carries a double stud-post mounting, typical of period military collar or shoulder insignia rather than a lapel pin, with a warm aged brass tone and light handling marks. As a matched pair, they likely represent a set worn on opposing collar points or shoulder boards.
Each measures approximately 1" x 1"
