This standalone circular hat badge emblem showcases American Airlines' classic flying eagle cockade in vivid 1960's cloisonné-style enamel: a deep blue eagle in flight, wings raised, centered between two bold blue block letters "A" and "A" on a crisp white ground, all bordered by a rich red enamel ring with a thin gold toned outline. The colors remain bold and largely unfaded, with clean edges to the enamel work and no visible chips or losses. The reverse is a simple flat disc fitted with a single stud-post attachment rather than a wing-back pin, suggesting this piece was designed to be mounted onto a flight attendant cap rather than worn on its own as a standard pin-back. Light handling marks and surface scuffing are visible on the back, consistent with genuine age and use.
Measures approximately 1.5" x 1.5"
