McCormick-Deering (International Harvester) Type LB stationary gas engine, rated 1½–2½ horsepower, mounted as part of a complete hand pump demonstration unit. Tag indicates 300–500 RPM pulley speed, manufactured by International Harvester Co., Chicago, Illinois, serial no. LBA1509074.
Engine is belt-driven to an upright hand-operated pump assembly (Fairbanks-Morse style pump marked F.E. Myers & Bro. Co., Superior, Wis.), all mounted on a custom wood platform with steel axle and rubber-tired transport wheels. Includes vertical exhaust stack, fuel tank base, and control box with on/off switch.
Nicely presented unit with older repaint showing well. Engine retains correct components including carburetion, ignition, and governor linkage. Belt drive is in place connecting engine to pump. Pump jack assembly is complete with wood guide frame and handle.
