The obverse presents a swept-wing bar centering a heraldic shield bearing a red, white, and blue Union Jack enamel field surmounted by the raised letters "RAF" beneath a royal crown — the unmistakable emblem of the Royal Air Force, whose fighter and bomber crews were at that very moment defending Britain in the Battle of Britain and the Blitz. The reverse carries a deeply stamped inscription reading "A TRIBUTE OF VALOR / BRITISH-AMER. / AMBULANCE CORPS / INC. 7. The purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by the auction company in the collection of funds. The purchaser also agrees that a fee of 2% per month is added to the balance of any unpaid balance due the auction company and any other costs or losses incurred by the purchaser's failure to adhere to these terms. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
8. The auctioneer has the sole discretion to advance the bidding and may reject a nominal advance, should it in his estimation prove injurious to the auction. The auctioneer shall be the final judge in all bidding disputes and shall name a bidder as the purchaser.
9. The auction company shall not be held responsible for any 'missed' bids or bids unseen by the auctioneer. Bid Retractions ARE NOT ALLOWED! Bid ONLY on items you wish to purchase!

No charge back or refund will be allowed! Items not removed by the time listed for pick up MAY be charged a fee ($25 'Local Pickup' / $5 Small Items) to be placed in storage.
