The McCormick-Deering W-30 Orchard is a rare and specialized variant of the W-30 row-crop tractor, produced by International Harvester in the 1930s. Designed specifically for use in orchards and groves, the W-30 Orchard features smooth, contoured bodywork and fender skirts to prevent branches from catching on the machine—an essential detail for working between tight tree rows.
Only a limited number of these orchard models were produced, making surviving examples particularly prized among collectors today. The W-30 Orchard is a testament to International Harvester's commitment to meeting the diverse needs of American agriculture during the early 20th century.
