AUCTION PREMIUM: A 10% Auction Premium will be added to the winning bid to determine the final sale price.

TERMS: Payment in full due day of sale in the form of cash, check, Visa or MasterCard with an additional 4% processing fee.

Auction Premium: There will be a 10% Auction Premium added to the winning bid. The sum of the winning bid plus the Auction Premium will be the sales price.

Bidder Qualification: Prospective Bidders must register for a bidder’s number. Registration is also an agreement to comply with all terms of the auction, both written and verbal.

Payment: All items must be paid for in full at the conclusion of the auction. Accepted forms of payment are cash, personal / company checks, Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted (no debit cards). A 4% transaction fee will be charged on credit card purchases. All out of state checks must be accompanied by a bank letter of guaranteed payment.

All items are sold “AS IS” and “WHERE IS” with no warranty implied or expressed by the Seller or Ford Brothers, Inc. All auction items may be inspected prior to the sale.

Firearms: (If Firearms are available at this Auction) All firearms purchased at today’s auction must be paid for in full today. They can be picked up at Ford Brothers’ Mt. Vernon office Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. See attached Terms of Firearm Purchase.

Vehicles: Ford Brothers will collect usage tax and transfer the title at the Rockcastle County Clerk Office. Any delinquent taxes MUST be paid by the purchaser before title can be transferred. The buyer and seller must sign vehicle titles today. There will be NO OPEN TITLES. The buyer of titled vehicles assumes all liability for that vehicle at the time of purchase.

Items must be paid for before they are loaded. A paid receipt must be presented to auction personnel before loading.

Item Pickup: All items should be removed today. The purchaser will assume all liability for items left at the auction site. Items left at the auction site for more than 1 week will be forfeited by the purchaser with NO REFUND. When an item is sold, the buyer is responsible for keeping up with the item.

Taxes: Sales tax will be collected on taxable items unless the purchaser is buying for resale and has a tax exempt certificate or signs a farm exemption form for farm approved items.

Auction Note: In the case of a disputed bid, bidding may be reopened between the parties with the high bid at the auctioneer's discretion.
This is a public auction open to anyone who can comply with written and verbal terms of sale.

Agency: Ford Brothers, Inc.' agents and Representatives are agents of the Seller. Buyer and or Bidder agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Ford Brothers, Inc. and its Agents and its Representatives from any and all claims, damages or suits including but not limited to awards, judgments, costs, fees, etc.
Ford Brothers, Inc., reserves the right to alter this agreement at any time. This will take place by updating this site. Please check back and review these terms as every time you use this site you are agreeing to the terms as they are written at that time.

Auction company employees and/or auction company may bid on and purchase auction items.

BIDDER DEFAULT: Failure to complete a purchase is illegal and will result in one or more of the following (1) prosecution (2) loss of bidding privileges for Ford Brothers and all other Marknet auctions.
